Cultural Policy in Tunisia- Compendium Profile – 2015
Feb 2016The exploratory survey aims to monitor laws and mechanisms which control cultural policy activism in Tunisia. It was undertaken in accordance to the Compendium format, utilised for cultural policy studies worldwide.
The report, attached below, summarises the most noteworthy developments of 2014, comparing them to the 2010 report on cultural policies in Tunisia within the following categories: A comprehensive cultural policy overview, support of culture, cultural institutes and societies, cultural legalization, international cultural coordination, the coordination of governmental ministries and human resources, modern issues and discourses, and another chapter on particular issues on cultural policies and relevant discourse.
The survey was conducted in 2009 and 2010 by researchers Hadya Al-moqaddam and Wafa Belqasem. It was updated in 2014 by researcher Belal Al-abboudi.
